Since 1966, the city and county have jointly operated a building department. Pikes Peak Regional Building Department now serves Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Fountain, Green Mountain Falls, Manitou Springs, Monument and Palmer Lake.
The Pikes Peak Regional Building Department, El Paso County, the City of Colorado Springs and Colorado Springs Utilities are participants in this model project. This allows for greater efficiency and savings in time for citizens of Colorado Springs and El Paso county. You can obtain plan approvals and permits for all building projects here. |
